Hi guys, I have finally finished implementing one of my bigger goals for the Help Finder; Opening someone's post directly from the map! I'm quite happy with how its turned out, colours are a little basic but can be changed at a later date. Anyway, on to the Update List: Help Finder- Added clickable posts. You can now click on individual posts when zoomed in far enough on the map. Help Posts are red circles. Work Posts are blue circles. If you mouse over a post (when zoomed in far enough), it will display the title of the post in a small popup on the Help Finder! (Desktop/Pc only) Clicking on a post will display a bigger popup which displays the title of that post, as well as a link to open up that full post. If you are not logged in, clicking on a post will prompt you to log in before going any further. From the post's screen, you can Send an offer to the Posts Owner. Sending an offer directly to a post without using the Search, Currently wont display the approximate distance between you and the post. This will be implemented in the future. Overall system improvements that needed to be made to make this possible. The Help Finder will now load and function much better, increasing the max amount of posts on the map from 100, to over 10'000! Heat-maps will be loaded to the map, 50 at a time. Thats the end of todays updates. If you have any questions or feedback, leave a comment below!
Today I'm back with some more updates. I have had my hands full with other things recently, and am finally back to working on Farmers Forum! Home - Made the slide show at the top of the screen smaller and better fitting. Made Facebook tile on the right of the screen (desktop) smaller. About - Updated About page Changed its Design. Added more to it. Website Footer - Changed its Design. Added more Links. Added contact Information for quick use. While I had been busy, I have also been spending a great deal of time learning about design and marketing. I've Read books, and made a lot of notes, designs, and plans. The new about page and footer designs just some of the results, I am also working on Landing pages and ease of use updates for the future! Comment below for any and all feedback!
